ASTHMA : People suffering from asthma have breathing problem and it becomes sever during an atack. Many people have used yoga to get relief from asthma. Recommended asanas are Pranayam, Cat pose, Bhujangasana, Tadasana, Parvatasana etc.

DIABETES : Diabetic patients are suffering from high level of blood sugar. this happens due to abnormal functioning of insulin. Insulin is controlled by Pancreas. Twists and Back-bending yogasanas are helpful in toning the pancreas. Increased blood circulation that comes with yogasana is also helpful. recommended asanas are Sun-salutation, Bharadbhajasana, Marichayasana, Dhanurasana.

INSOMNIA : Tired body and tired mind settle in rest easily. So if your problem is sleeplessness, then practice atleast 25to 30 asanas daily with holding each posture for 1 to 2 minutes. Start with Sun-salutation. Avoid heavy meal and exercise closer to your bed time.

OBESITY : Inactivity and over eating are the main causes of obesity. Calory restricted high on nutrition diet in small meals is recommended. Asanas recommended are Sun-salutation, Utkatasana, Virbhadrasanas, Pranayam.

STRESS : There can be a No. of reasons for stress in our lives. Reasons differ person to person. Yoga helps enormously to de-stress ourselves.
