Cardio training is also know as aerobic training. It helps improve cardio vascular fitness (stamina) and loose body fat. It also improves metabolic rate. Cardio training should be performed for 30 to 45 minutes regularly starting with slower speed and gradually increasing the speed. Treadmill, Stationary Cycle, Cross trainer etc are Cardio machines used for cardio training at home or Fitness Centres. Aerobics dance, running, swimming etc are also Cardio workouts.
