"MASSAGE" & ITS BENEFITS

The sense of touch is a powerful and highly sensitive form of communication. It is a natural reaction to reach out and touch. The world all over is rediscovering the healing power of most powerful form of touch i.e. Massage.

Supposed Benefits of Massage on various internal organs:
A well performed massage by an Expert Professional, can stimulate and relax the body and the mind. The skin, blood and lymphatic systems are stimulated, which boosts circulation, aids cellular renewal and removes toxic wastes. This results in a feeling of relaxation and well being.
1) The Nervous System: Millions of nerve endings run throughout the body, controlling most of our functions. Depending on the depth of the massage and the movements used, the nerve endings can be stimulated or soothed.
2) The Skin: With massage comes an increase in blood circulation. This helps the exfoliation of superficial dead skin cells, tones the skin and encourages its renewal process. Massage helps maintain the collagen fibers, which give skin its elasticity and strength, and keep wrinkles at bay. The activity of the sweat and sebaceous glands which lubricate and moisturize the skin, is regulated.
3) The Muscles: With the increase in blood flow due to massage, the blood’s vital nutrients circulate more efficiently and muscles get the desired nutrients more easily. Massage is popular with Sportsmen because it can restore mobility and ensure the elimination of waste products after exercise. With regular massage, strains, sprains, cramps etc heal more rapidly. Massage before an exercise session will help loosen the muscles or afterwards it will ease sore, aching limbs.
4) The Circulation & The Lymphatic Systems: The force generated by the massage increases the blood circulation. A good circulatory system means that an efficient supply of oxygen and nutrients through blood, reaching the billions of individual cells. This is vital for the healthy functioning of whole body, from the muscles to the internal organs such as the kidneys and the liver. Increase in blood circulation due to massage also helps accelerate the lymphatic system which absorbs and eliminates waste substances. An efficient lymphatic system provides the body with a strong immune system to fight against infections and diseases.
5) The Digestive System: Effect of massage is also on the digestive system so that the processes of assimilation of nutrients and elimination of waste are improved.
